Kontrolit Version 3.30 Released

KontrolitVersion 3.30 of our Kontrolit CMS platform has now been released.  Kontrolit is a Content Management System (CMS) for business web sites. Kontrolit has a unique user friendly interface for quickly delivering content to media rich sites.

  1. New module "Members" - setup private areas on your site i.e. to view content users must login.  Unlimited pages can be applied to Members areas and all the Web 2.0 features like comments, document rating, tagging and number of views are available.
  2. Gallery module updated
    1. New image pop up mechanism on Gallery for quick viewing
    2. Thumbnail image navigation on details page for easier navigation
    3. Extra large high quality images available from Gallery for visitors to download
    4. Ability to flick to next and previous images from Gallery details page
    5. New slide show component available (auto scroll all Gallery images)
  4. Glossary module updated
    1. Quick search based on Title of Glossary entries
    2. New cross search component - place this on any page on the site and it will match any text found in the document with the title of glossary items and provide links to that Glossary entry.  Great for any site that uses technical terms or specialist materials.
  6. List of most popular searches available as a tag cloud on the search page
  7. Top menus now editable and customisable in the administration panel
  8. Visual password strength indicator available for all instances where users may enter or change a password
  9. Ability to exclude documents from the Google Site Map
  10. New component - Jump Menu.  Create and edit your own jump to menus
  11. Reset password facility for administrators in the User Manager
  12. New quick save option in the Document Manger - a great time saver when working on long documents
  13. Forum updated - ability to set individual forums to private i.e. to view will require a login. This keeps search engines from indexing the content and from non members from viewing
  14. Mailing list component added - quick and easy way to sign people up to the mailing list
  15. Events module has been updated so that bookings can only be made for future events
